These mixed media tapestries were created for an exhibit titled

 

The Mystical Hebrew Letters:

Layers of Meaning, Fabric of Time

 

Each letter in the Hebrew Alphabet has many layers of symbolic meanings and energetic influences. I created  twenty two tapestries by incorporating layers of paper, fabrics and paint on canvas.  My intention was to imbue these tapestries with the symbolic and mystical power of each hebrew letter.

 

All tapestries are 40” x 25” and were created in 2006 and 2007.
